| | WILL AUSTIN, WCCC President | Dr. William "Will" Austin serves as Warren County Community College's fourth president. With the appointment of Dr. Austin, Warren county received the distinction of creating state history by having the youngest president, at the age of 33, to ever lead a College in the State of New Jersey. Dr. Austin earned his Bachelor of Arts from Loyola College, Master of Arts from Temple University, and Doctorate in Education from Nova Southeastern University. In his tenure as a recognized community college leader, Dr. Austin developed a new strategic planning process, detailed in his book, Strategic Planning for Smart Leadership, published by New Forums Press, and used as a text in graduate schools throughout the nation. |
| | SAMIR ELBASSIOUNY, WCCC Foundation Executive Director | 
Samir Elbassiouny graduated at the top of his class at the Culinary Institute of America in 1989 and was recruited by CIA to serve a fellowship as Assistant Professor. His love for the hospitality industry and his entrepreneurial spirit led him to open his first business, Sisters Gourmet, a three and a half star restaurant, in 1992. It was hailed by food critics as one of the best restaurants in New Jersey. As a self-employed restaurateur and real estate investor, he was given the 2002 Entrepreneurial Success Award by the Warren County Regional Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Elbassiouny created several businesses, including Good Times Restaurant, and is currently president of Wall Street Partners, a real estate investment corporation. In 2003, Mr. Elbassiouny was elected to the Warren County Regional Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors; in 2006 was elected to the Washington Township governing body; and from 2006-2007 served as Deputy Mayor. He joined the WCCC Foundation in 2005 and became Executive Director in August 2007. He currently serves as Mayor of Washington Township, NJ. Mr. Elbassiouny hosted various fundraisers, benefiting Make a Wish Foundation, Common Sense for Animals, the Melissa Neier Memorial Fund, Oxford Township School, and various other charities and non-profit organizations throughout the county. |
| | DORIAN ALU, Assistant to the WCCC Foundation Director |  Dorian Alu, former Assistant to the Dean of the Silberman College of Business at Fairleigh Dickinson University, has a Masters degree in Corporate and Organizational Communications. While at FDU, she also worked as a writer for the University magazine and as Assistant to the Director of the School of Computer Science. From 1998 to 2000, she was the Coordinator of Staff and Organization Development at Valley Health Systems, Paramus, NJ, where she was appointed to the Communications Task Force and Orientation Leadership Program. Ms. Alu worked under the esteemed Bishop John Shelby Spong while serving as Parish Administrator for the Episcopal Diocese of Newark. During the time that she raised two children, she was an advertising agent and graphic artist for various Bergen County corporations and local businesses. Now, as part of the staff and faculty of Warren County Community College, Ms.Alu teaches as a college instructor and serves as Assistant to the WCCC Foundation Director. An avid volunteer, Ms. Alu was elected and served in the Hackensack Superintendent of Schools' Office as President of the Hackensack PTA Presidents' Council, presiding over six school districts. Ms. Alu presently serves on the Steering Committee of the United Way Women's Leadership Council; is a member of the WCCC Presidents Council; and is a former Board Director for the Brookfield Glen Association. She is an award winning writer (Writers Digest and APEX Awards). Ms. Alu is married to Michael G. Alu, Legion of Honor Award recipient, USMC. She has three children: Brecken, 24; Andrew, 22; and Michael, 30. |
| | LAMONT ROUSE, Director, Grant Research & Alumni Affairs | LaMont Rouse is a resident of Lopatcong and has served at the College since 2005, directing efforts in Institutional Research & Grants. He has been instrumental in developing reports, conducting ongoing and systemic research, and developing program performance measures. These efforts assisted the College in its recent Middle States visit. In the area of grants, his efforts led to a 67% increase in Carl Perkins funding. He also acquired funds to create a college-wide communications network and secured grants from the New Jersey Department of Human Services, the New Jersey Juvenile Justice Commission, Coca-Cola, The New York Times, Dominos Pizza, White Castle, and the Rogers Foundation.
Mr. Rouse earned a Masters in Public Administration (MPA) from Kean University. He is an active member of the Kiwanis Club and is passionate about volunteering, especially in service to his fraternity, Phi Beta Sigma. A prominent chess player who has won tournaments in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, Mr. Rouse enjoys teaching the Royal Game to underprivileged inner-city children. |
